Youth Activities - There are a variety of local programs where students are encouraged to support our military and our veterans. They participate in community events, scouting, assist the VFW in projects, learn citizenship, and countless other projects.

Recognizes Random Acts of Patriotism (R.A.P.)

  • We want to recognize random acts of patriotism conducted by youth. Reach out to your local auxiliary and inquire about how youth can receive recognition. Activities might include properly placing their hand on their heart during the Pledge of Allegiance. thanking veterans for their service, or being involved in some other activity that promotes patriotism. It’s a fun and unique way to engage children of elementary age and younger!
